Welcome to All Saints CE First School, Church Leigh.
We would like to welcome you to our website and share with you some information about our school.
All Saints First School is a popular village school situated in the pretty village of Church Leigh which serves the surrounding villages of Leigh and Withington whilst also attracting children from Bramshall, Stramshall, Uttoxeter, Checkley and Tean. It was founded in 1857 and was extended in the 1970s in keeping with its Victorian charm. A further extension was added in 2011 to provide the school with a new entrance, offices and school hall. This has resulted in a lovely spacious facility.
All our children are given the very best opportunities to thrive in our happy, caring, Christian ethos so that they can become confident, enthusiastic learners for life. We pride ourselves on a creative, flexible curriculum which is tailored to excite the children in their learning and develop their knowledge, skills and understanding, ensuring they reach their full potential.
We work closely with parents to enable effective home/school links supporting the individual needs of all our children whilst celebrating their gifts and talents.
We are very proud of the links we have with All Saints Church and Church Leigh Pre-School Playgroup. The playgroup runs daily in the school offering morning and after-noon sessions and runs a popular breakfast club from 7.45am as well as an after school club until 5pm. The provision is extended into the holidays with a holiday club running most weeks. The children also enjoy attending a half-termly service in church where they actively lead some of the readings and prayers and welcome parents/carers to join us.
You will find further information on other pages of the website but we would like to extend the offer to come and visit us in school to show you in person our happy and loving school.
